Who Fought in the Hundred Years War?

Who fought in the Hundred Years War?

The Hundreds Years War was fought between the French and the English. Both the
French and English had ships that counted up to be between 300-500 ship combined. After a While Du Guesclin On the French sidde toom over the war for France. In 1380 Du Guesclin died so the battles stopped for awhile. Until King Henry V the English ruler invaded France in 1415. Why would he invade France and start the war up again? I think that is silly.

Two other Armies fought in the Hundred Years War, they were the Pisan and Florentines. I wonder which sides the armies were on the English or The French side?????? The reason why they were in the war was because the Pisan didn't like the Florentine and how they ruled. The Pisans cut the Florentine food supply. I wonder what it is like to not eat for a couple of days? Finally on October 9, 1406 the Floretine army surrrendered due to illness.

What Caused the Hundred Years War?

What caused the Hundre Years War?

King Edward The III was one of the reasons why the wars and battles started he is the King of England. His uncle King Charles IV died while he was the king of France and leaving no kid to take over the throne. King Edward wanted to be the king but France forbidded him to be because the didnt want a foriegn person ruling them. Why would he want to leave England to rule France and he isn't from
France? I think that is weird!!!!!

Instead of him getting to rule King Charles IV cousin got to rule France. He started a new dynasty and ruled against the English rule. This made the English mad and that is what started a war. Why would they go to war against there own family? After the battles ended in 1914 the English invaded France. This started the battles again. The wars started in 1337 and ended in 1453. That is a long time.

Where did the Hundred Years War Take Place?

Where did the Hundred Years War take place?

The first important battle for the war took place at sea by England. On June 24 both armies met and started firing at each other once they were in reach of each other. There were between 300 and 500 ships combined. That is alot of ships for a battle. Both Armies ships came so close they could hop ships and fight on the enemy ship or a fist fight. Alot of the people got thrown over board.

After that sea battle King Phillip decided he wanted the rest of the battles to be on the French side. Who was King Phillip the king for England or France? Why did he want the rest of the wars on the French side? Rest of the battles mostly took place On the French side in Crecy and in Agincourt. Crecy is where the English won the battle of Crecy ( French side).
Picture Of Crecy where a important battle took place.

What were the Battles like in the Hundred Years War?

What were the battles like in the Hundred Years War?

The English army liked the battles on land so they can walk and use their strong bodies as an advantage. In the Sea battle The English had 260 ships 4000 men on board.WOW.s alot of people and ships. How many people were on each ship? The war felt like a land battle because alot of fist fights happened during the battle at sea.

The ships came so close together that the armies hopped boat to boat. While on the boats lots of bow and arrow fights happened. Alot of people in this war were thrown board. They drowned because they had no way back up to the ship. WOW. I wonder how many people drowned during the war. This was one of the most important battles in the war. Most of the battles were on land.
